Speaking of coffee, this is my favourite television scene of all time. (Twin Peaks is just as amazing 20 years later, btw.)
This is about the freaking coolest video I’ve ever scene: Aliens (the movie), summed up in rap.

Stop What You’re Doing And Watch The Hell Out Of This of the Day: Epic rapping duo DJ Mayhem and MC Mouthmaster Murf AKA The Anomalies of Robocop / Terminator 2 / Predator (RIP) rap fame add Aliens (and Alien 3) to their growing list of amazing movie rap-ups with this 10-minute ditty.
Finding a workable rhyme for “xenomorphe”? That’s some straight up talent right there.

Genius video via thedailywhat:
In a recent Newswipe segment, Charlie Brooker poked fun at the tediously derivative visual language habits recycled ad nauseam by reporters in their news packages by putting together a news package using every single one of those tediously derivative visual language habits.

If VANOC created stuff like this, I’d be so much more excited about the Olympics. Our city is freaking stunning, and I just love living here.
And seriously. I consider Vanoc’s efforts of late to be appalling. Of course people in BC aren’t excited about the games. Nobody’s psyching us up about the sacrifices of convenience, routine and money we’re making in the interest of this massive global event. Nobody associated with the games is fostering civic pride or hospitality. They’re so damn focused on making advertisers happy, they’ve forgotten the things that are actually important.

If I get sleepy during the workshop today, I’m going to think of this: Dinosaur Ballet.

Ladies and gents, my new happy place.
OMG! Adorbz of the Day: Ross Butter’s “Dinosaur Ballet” just went straight to the top of my Desert Island YouTube Videos list.
