The Dodgers left Brooklyn long before I was born. My uncle was a big fan, and possibly because of him there’s a part of me that mourns the loss of the team. Even though they left when my mother wasn’t yet ten years old. Even though I live now on the west coast of Canada. It’s like a weird genetic memory, or something.
