Agreed! How could this be achieved? Certainly only for newly purchased print books. Or, when someone buys an ebook there could be an option for “Also send a print book?” Still, there needs to be an infrastructure. I doubt everyone who buys a print book and wants the option to read the same book digitally will want to store that digital copy for the proverbial rainy day. Would there need to be some sort of universal, publisher agnostic clearinghouse?
